I am highly interested to contribute to innovations in organic plant breeding and organic seed production following a multi-actor approach and broad participation, bridging gaps between natural science, social science, citizen science (I am a big fan of SeedLinked), entrepreneurship and policy making. I am engaged in the Swiss and EU regulation on marketing of plant reproductive material, plant variety protection, GMO, NGT and innovative financing models for organic plant breeding. I also think that the potential of medicinal plants have not been fully exploited in the organic sector. I am involved in European projects and decentralized participatory breeding and cultivar testing in India and Africa
