Dr. Karine Peschard
I am an anthropologist with twenty years of research experience. My expertise and publications relate to intellectual property regimes in agriculture, agrobiodiversity, legal activism, and the right to seeds. I work as an independent research consultant for NGOs and international organizations. I am also an Associate Research Fellow at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, where I support the implementation of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Peasants (UNDROP), in particular peasants’ right to seeds. I am fluent in English, French and Portuguese.
