I am an Emeritus Professor of Community and Environmental Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I am a founder and board member of the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI), and I am a principal in the Nitrogen Fixation on the Aerial Roots of Maize (NFARM) project at UW-Madison.
